SHARE YOUR STORY
It is an honor to invite all members of our church who have a story to share to contribute to this historic project recording the vocational discernment experiences of the members of our church over the course of several decades.
-
If you have wrestled with a call to ordained ministry;
-
if you have served as a part of a Commission on Ministry or any other church body that considers how we are identifying, discerning and supporting vocations;
-
if you are a retired or active priest, a newly ordained priest, a deacon or a bishop;
-
if you are an Episcopalian whose journey of faith includes a story only you can tell about your experience of “the process” toward ordination, then...
We urge you to record your story in one of three ways:
You will have the ability to designate your story as confidential to the research project, or available for others to hear and be informed by as the church explores new approaches to the ordination discernment process going forward.
Whether joining one of the live Zoom sessions or recording your story individually, we ask that you relate your stories in approximately 5 minutes. We will be gathering stories through the end of 2024, with live Zoom sessions all occurring in October and November.
